Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent essention Shipping was super fast, excellently priced, and the quality of the product was excellent. Made in the USA means something, and that is good. I enjoy polishing my shoes, and good quality tools are essential. I would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made In The USA I bought two of these brushes. Each brush is slightly over 2 1/4" wide x 6 3/4" long, so it is a good size for just about anyone's size hand including my medium/large lady's hands. The bristles are just over an inch long, lots of them, and soft (but not too soft). The slight curve of the wooden handle makes it comfortable to grasp. The smooth beveled edging and rounded corners of the wood make it extra nice. There are no sharp edges anywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Brush Wood handle is splinter and knot free. Horsehair is dense and the light colour shows what residue is left behind so you know which brush to use for light and dark colours. Good value for the money. Not likely to buy again though as my last Kiwi brush (which I still use) has lasted 28 years.

Would it be appropriate to wash the shine brush bristles?

    Asked by: Butch
Thank you for your interest in Allen Edmonds. Our Horsehair Dauber and Shine Brushes can typically be left out to air dry and then wiped clean of any clumps or build up. Because each colored polish should be used with its own individual brush, washings with water are unnecessary. Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions. do you need to use different shoe brushes for each color shoe?

ie. a set for black, brown, etc
    Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your interest. We recommend using a different brush for each color polish. Since shoe shine brushes are used to buff and remove any excess polish, they do pick up the color polish from previous shines and may transfer some of that color to the next shoe. Feel free to contact us with any further questions. Allen Edmonds Customer Service
